Recycling
In one of my previous posts, you saw how much trash people dump (Average) each day. You are now aware of that, but now what do we do with that unwanted junk? Whoa whoa whoa, slow down. That is not junk. Wait, did you say that I said that it was junk? Oops. But there is one simple answer. Put a trash can in your house. How does that help? Why what a simple answer. Why do you ask? reading my post, looking… Oh you want to know what a trash bin has to do with recycling is that it? You use that as your indoor recycling bin. Then if your city doesn’t leave huge green grain bins with arrows pointing every which way so you don’t know which way is up, you can drive, Wait, Back up. driving is bad for the environment considering the exhaust and all that. I was going to say bike to a recycling center and drop off your recycling there. Only, if your city Does drop off huge green grain bins with arrows pointing every which way so you don’t know which way is up, then leave your recycling in there then look at your city’s website to see which day you leave the recycling on the curb. On that day the recycling truck will come by and take the recycling with it. I can’t go through the detail on what happens because I’m running out of time so I’ll just have to leave it at that. Now, don’t treat this info contemptuously or contradict to this. It is well worth knowing. So, go places, see things, and MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
Box jellyfish
See? I told you I would post about the box jellies. I just didn’t know it would be the very next post. See, I’m really busy like, all the time and I don’t always have time to tell the world about the amazing things nature has to show to us. Anyway, I’m back with the Box jelly fish.
I have special thanks for Doctor Jamie Seymour in unlocking the secrets of these marine stingers. He has made this possible for me to teach you. I love reading about strange creatures and learning more. I hope you do to.
Quick facts
- the box jellyfish’s diet consists of fish and shrimp.
- They are able to propel themselves at about 5 miles per hour.
- They instinctively sink to the bottom of the sea to avoid the leatherback sea turtle; it’s mortal enemy.
- It has twenty four eyes. Cool huh?
One more thing on this instinct business. It has no brain. I still don’t know how they do it. It’s amazing.
Oh, and one more thing. if you get stung, please do NOT use vinegar. It eases the pain but it causes the stingers to inject venom which causes fatal problems especially with the brain and heart. The best treatment is CPR before the doctors take over. And also, please obey the signs if the beach is closed to swimming. Well that was today’s lesson. So, go places, see things, and MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
Nature today
Did you know that nature is full of news? What does “instincts” mean? What’s the most recently discovered species? I’ll try to keep you up to date on the latest nature news. right now at this very moment, scientists are learning how to learn about and conserve the environment. I’ll pass all that information along to you. Keep the viewing coming and enjoy my site.

Nature Instincts
This site isn’t all about making you feel guilty, or scaring you to death about picking up trash. Okay, I admit, some of it is, but that’s not all it’s about. It’s about teaching you about nature; The wonderful world around you. Today we are learning about instincts.
Instincts is what is knowing what to do without thinking. For example, the minute you came out of your mother’s womb, you knew to breath. Wait, you say you didn’t? Well I don’t think you to say to yourself, “Breath in, breath out. Breath in, breath out.” did you? Exactly my point. you knew what to do right away. That is instinct.
Most animals have instincts (besides breathing). One example is the box jellyfish. I’ll put them in my website later. Anyway, the box jellyfish loves shrimp. Even though it has no brain, it has twenty four eyes that it somehow processes through. And if it sees something good, it propels toward it at about twelve miles per hour. And at night, it sinks toward the bottom of the beach to avoid it’s deadly predator. The sea turtle.
The sea turtle you say? that’s right; The sea turtle. its hard armor protects it from the box jellyfish’s sting. And the sea turtle knows that it can eat it because of, you know it, instinct. And the sea turtle also uses instinct to know where to go when it hatches in the sand; towards the ocean. It also knows how to swim and what food to eat. Isn’t instinct amazing? Well that was today’s lesson. So, go places, see things, and MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
Crashing death
This experience, has only happened to me once and I hope it never will again. Birds sometimes fly into glass windows seeing the reflection of outside or seeing a large open space inside; This can seriously injure and even kill the bird. One day, I saw either an eastern meadowlark, or yellow warbler (I don’t know which) run into the glass five times in a row! I am surprised that the poor birdie didn’t die then and there; And this was full force flying power. Eventually, he found out he wasn’t getting in and flew of into his nest (his nest was about five feet away). I’m glad he found out then and there because he could have died. Imagine this. You are a little bird flying twenty to thirty miles per hour trying to escape this monstrous hawk and all of the sudden you run into seriously thick. You might of broken a wing, damaged your skull, knocked yourself out, or even killed yourself. Has that given you an idea of how dangerous we have made it for these birds? well that’s only the beginning. be sure to keep our little friends in mind. Well that was today’s lesson. So, go places, see things, and MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
The begining
One day, I was struck at the news that about two hundred types of animals and plants are going extinct each day; That’s Two hundred every day, never to be seen a day. That was when I knew I had to do something, so I created this sight for the world to see. We are in huge trouble. Us humans have made this mess and we are going to clean it up. I’ll keep you updated so we can save our planet! Go places, see things, and MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
Behind the scenes
One day, when I started this site, I had homework to make a website on anything I wanted. To me, it was a dream come true. I had always wanted to create something online that would always remind me of my destiny; To save nature.
Everywhere I looked there was disaster. Forest logging for instance. There are no more bananas, apples, furniture, cinnamon, gum, vanilla, ginger, you name it. Consider it gone. another problem was and is now, over fishing. People today, (not me, the best thing I catch with my pole is a bunch of seaweed. ugh.) catch fish and fish and more fish. When all the fish are gone, the ecosystem is disabled and consider it gone. Poaching, polluting, logging, you name it. it was a problem. I knew I had to stop it.
“Nothing is impossible, the word itself says ‘I’m possible’!” Audrey Hepburn
“Do or do not. there is no try,” Yoda
“Change your life today. Don’t gamble on the future, act now, without delay,” Simone de Beauvoir.
We will stop this. Nothing is impossible; the word itself says ‘I’m possible’. We do or do not. There is no try. I don’t gamble on the future, I act now, without delay. I am the one who will save the world. Now let’s get this show on the road. Go places, see things, and MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
